Well duh… the CEOs and tech bros keep saying it… and we all know they are unprincipled enough to fo it just for the cost cutting alone.
Completely understandable , the entire tech industry is investing so heavily in AI and datacenters , it isn’t to give Joe schmo $20/mo. aI subscription, it’s to go after the real money corporate accounts as they displace expensive human labor.. follow the money and you’ll see what’s really going on .
