Looks like the Louvre decided tourists aren’t visitors, just ATMs with legs.

Heard somewhere that most visitors to the Louvre make a bee-line to the Mona Lisa and leaving immediately after seeing it.
You had me at Ducreux… nothing like another good reason to go to Stockholm in winter.
Double standards in the lourve? Fuckin really EU?
Nice way to treat us visitors like money bags you pricks.
So much of Europe already rips off tourists like it’s a game, now the Louvre is doing it too.
Watch you Muppets complian when tourism goes down once the world realises how much Europe double prices everything now.
I went to Sweden only once, for a work trip, and the only thing I had spare time to see was the Vasa. It was quite something! When I come back, I’ll add this to my list of things to check out!
I know there are memes, but seriously visit British museums. They’re free to enter for the most part and have a lot of good stuff
And then go see the Vasa! Coolest museum on earth, imho.
Just visit Stockholm in general! As an American from a very snowy and cold part of the country , Scandinavia is delightful and so cheap to travel to during the winter.
No thank you.
It’s really hard to compare both museums. The Louvre is much much bigger and has way better opening times. It’s probably worth paying more.
So what about other Europeans outside of the EU?
Or go to the Petit Palais which is a free mini Louvre in Paris.
How about both ? ☺️
How is it legal to charge more depending on the other person’s nationality?
Given the recent break-in, that’s a really badly timed policy. Security costs, and the non-EU tourists will be more motivated to go elsewhere
