Misinformed article written by someone who doesn’t seem to have visited Monaco since 2010
they control speed quite frequently, i’ve been stopped with my scooter on the rue rapide. they had a portable laser.
no seatbelts is a quite stupid rule, 99% of cars will start to beep anyway and I don’t get what kind of discomfort is created by wearing a seatbelt.
There’s not much room to speed anyway, it’s kinda impossible to go super fast
The police in Monaco are also pretty strict in my opinion. So unlike what this article suggests, you can’t just go around doing what you want in a car.
Roads are not really long enough to drive fast 🙄
There are police on every corner. And it’s nearly impossible to to over 20 mph. With traffic nobody is speeding anywhere.
