This is an apt reflection of how his whole party feels about women in general. It boggles the mind that any woman would want to identify as a republican with the amount of disrespect that they get.
My MAGA mom is only mildly offended. He has a ways to go before really irritating the faithful.
He insults everybody, but “Quiet, Piggy,” wasn’t just a stupid nick-name on Truth Social. It was a mask-off command. I think MTG is giving an off-ramp to some MAGA women. Not a huge percentage of people, but, bit by bit, the base is being chipped away.
He keeps doing it because everyone else in the room is letting him. When will someone, anyone, at the time of these insults say “what the fuck did you just say to her? You need to apologize”
Trump supporters like Trump because he acts like they do, and gets away with it.
Remember he’s the head of a party that would be quite happy with taking away women’s right to vote

I get that their access would likely be instantly revoked, but man… Someone has got to push back on him when this happens.

It’s reached the point where there is literally no reason to ask Trump, Leavitt, or in fact anyone in this administration anything at all. Everything they say is all lies and bullshit. And the moment you call Trump out on it he gets nasty.
It would be particularly nice to watch Leavitt show up to a Press Secretary Meeting and find herself looking at an empty room as no one gives a fuck as to what she has to say. But of course – the media need to keep raking in the dollars, echoing all of the lies this administration keeps telling, and generating those website clicks to keep everyone outraged.
Trump doesn’t like anyone getting the better of him, especially female reporters who hit him with factual statements. So he resorts to insults. This is what you get when you elect a habitual liar as your President.
