How do you people with such delicate skin get by in the rest of the world outside of trains?

    2. This petition most likely won’t come through.
I’m autistic, too. The best way I’ve found to avoid noisy environments is to wear noise-canceling headphones.

    3. I agree, but an interdiction means a fine !How that would be put into effects ? The bus driver has other things to do than to stop the bus and give a fine to whoever isn’t respecting the code…Even in trains, where the workers sometime get already enough trouble for giving a fine to someone who didn’t buy their ticket, I doubt they would want to risk their own safety for that…

There’s a limit to everything though. Once a guy was typing on his phone (normal typing volume), and this woman comes from the other side of the bus telling him to turn the typing sound off…

    5. I already do all of this, so I would support the initiative. Just 2 questions:

1.- How would this be enforced?
2.- What good is a goal of 200 signatures for?

Also your image attacks people just…talking? but the text in french on the petition only talks about calls and music? If I hadn’t read the proposal and only judged from the image and your post, I’d be opposing it.

I almost never see that kind of behavior (Zurich area), though it’s quite common when I go to see family on the French side

I don’t understand people who play videos / music without headphones. It doesn’t even sound good and don’t people want some privacy?

I was stuck in a small train compartment from Zurich – Bern with this guy last weekend who had 20 different phone conversations and watched TikTok the entire time. This was even in first class…

I wanted to say something or move, but he looked super shady & moving all the things with me was just too inconvenient to only find the same issue in the next compartment.

I hope eventually this main character trend stops and there is public shaming. I get it late at night when a group of people are together having fun, but not just on a normal Sunday afternoon or especially during the morning commute.

Woah that picture is exactly how it feels like. I mainly ride the first train of the day to work since a packed rush hour one would be too much. And yes it’s insanely stressful to maneuver train stations and public transportation without noise canceling headphones.

    9. Thank you, I find the lack of consideration for others seriously disturbing. In France or Japan, they have announcements asking people to not conduct phonecalls in the train wagons, and it’s much more comfortable there.

    10. That depends on the connection and the time of day. On the InterRegio in the morning, I hardly dare chew my sandwich because you could hear a pin drop.

    11. Man coming back from japan really made me not enjoy taking öv here. Why can’t people just shut the fuck up once they enter a train, bus or tram. And if they wanna talk at least „whisper“.

No. It’s very rare that the loud noises come from a mobile device in my experience.

me me me, those who make noises, those who can’t handle them, eyerybody is like me me me… and it’s always the others… oh switzerland…
