      This might explain the problem with our political system. The Alberta deal is good for the country, it doesn’t have to be good politically. Good policy is not always good politically.

    2. I could understand why some MPs would be concerned that their leader burned all of their political capital with the demographics who gave them government in one agreement with a party and demographic who will never be appeased, no matter what concessions are made, where Carney handed that party everything in exchange for a false bill of goods from Smith, and very dubious benefits to most Canadians, all while igniting a series of political fires around the country.

      He doesn’t even seem to understand the risks within his own party, let alone those with Canadians who supported him.
