Did they show this stuff on TV in the US back in the day? Feel like people would have turned on the war way sooner

I googled this to find out information on the soldier here as I assumed they were killed but couldn’t find a link.

There are no listed deaths for US soldiers on either March 1st 2005 or January 3rd 2005. I also can’t find anything about an IED attack on a humvee in Abu Ghraib.
