      SS: The world strongest “woman” was actually a biological man. But the left say this doesn’t happen and that everyone is just making up fake conspiracies. They call you transphobic for even brining it up. But what’s worse is this person didn’t even disclose it like all the other controversies we see

      I really don’t care at this point. The Epstein files really are the existential threat in the room. This is another distraction keeping people from figuring out the true machinations of our power structure.

      sad that someone abused this to win, but on the other hands there are so few transgenders in the world, and even less who compete in strength sports, that this seems kind of trivial in the scheme of all things. But good that it has been resolved.

      So bizarre when guys who don’t give a shit about meaningfully supporting women’s rights, feminism, or women’s sports decide to “defend” us from .05% of the population.

      If you actually cared about women there are literally 7,397 things you could do that would matter more to us than this garbage. But you don’t really care about helping. You just use “care” as a cudgel.

      I’m pleased the organisation has done the right thing! Those who ask who cares. The women who sacrificed and pushed their body to the limits for a chance at glory. Just to be outdone by a woman born as a man! Imagine that’s your sister, daughter, niece, mother being duped out of a world title.

      Biology is a weird thing. One can be born with biological markers that are not physically visible. I’m not aware of this persons specific but, there are those whom at birth are physically and visibly clearly of one sex but biological testing will determine them to be of another. Changing one’s gender to gain a competitive advantage is wrong. I’ve not seen anyone left or right disagree with that. If that’s the case here then stripping the title is a just solution. But, there may be more to the story than we know. In a broader discussion the trans outrage we see from so many politicians is manufactured. When our politicians can’t or won’t provide real solutions to real problems. They find scapegoats and the transgender political movement seems to be exactly that.

      I don’t remember people having a “who cares” attitude about cheating in sport when it was Lance Armstrong and the tour de France. Pretty telling that when it’s women’s sports, the majority of reactions here amount to “this doesn’t matter.”
      And the idea that left leaning people think this is okay? Myopic, reductionist view. Certain people support it. Many left-leaning people don’t. I sure don’t. you don’t have to be conservative to see that this is fucked.

      Forget politics and think about biology. What makes someone a man or a woman is many different genes and hormones. It’s very complicated, and it’s not always all or nothing. There is a spectrum. Actually there are many spectrums. A spectrum of low estrogen to high estrogen, a spectrum of low testosterone to high testosterone, a spectrum of xx to xy chromosomes, a spectrum of genitals, etc. Many people who are afab have high T levels and many amab people have low T levels. If you made a graph of cis people and their hormone levels and natural strength, there would be a lot of overlap between men and women. Just because trans people fit into that overlap too doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be allowed to do sports. Why draw the line at a trans person and not a cis woman with high T? It doesn’t make scientific sense.

      This debate keeps coming up.

      There was one a couple years ago that included a couple of trans women, one a former HS quarterback. She said allowing trans-women to complete was not fair.

      I don’t know anybody who is trans. I have no problem with it though. But there are advantages to being born a man. People make choices. If she wanted to be a Campion Weight Lifter, maybe she shouldn’t have transitioned.

      I do find the debate boring though.

      Lol yeah it happened. And it looks like the organizations are perfectly capable of policing themselves. I guess making this a political issue is a wholly unnecessary distraction. Who knew?! 🤷‍♂️
