      Things to note:

      * Due to the recent tragedy, the 2025 MAMA Awards, scheduled for Nov 28–29 in Hong Kong are canceling the red carpet segment and considering major program changes

      * The ceremony is still expected to take place but will likely be a pre-recorded broadcast in a more solemn tone

      * A moment of silence will be held during the ceremony

      * Special stages will be affected as well

      * Fire-themed effects and red outfits are expected to be replaced

      My feeling is that they will move the MAMA’s to December. I just hope all the people who died rest in peace/the injured people can heal soon.

      Good decision. The investment and monetary loss for this event should be secondary atp. I wish it were being cancelled outright but this feels like a more decent compromise.

      Many award shows had to be pre-recorded due to martial law craziness last year, so doing the same for this event should be okay.

      Anyway, shame for what has happened and condolences to those affected by the tragedy.
