I think we’re going to see a change in the coming years of how first nations are handled in Canada, at some point the general population is going to get so fed up with them constantly blocking every possible project they can while being given billions of dollars a year and still demanding more, not to mention groups trying to claim large portions of Canada as their own. At what point do people go „maybe 3.2% of our population shouldn’t get to dictate whatever they want with impunity“

Good for them. Fuck this pipeline and everyone pushing it.
We don’t need to jeopardize our environment and fragile ecosystems to export a dirty product that Canadians don’t own and will produce negligible benefits for the federal coffers.
This is just an awful deal, and Carney supporting it is making me seriously regret voting for him
