Rush Hour 3 was “so dumb, it’s good”. Dunno where the franchise can go from here.

Trump destroys the White House movie theater then starts mumbling about wanting this film?

Ok so what’s the catch? What’s he getting out of this?

I hope it loses a lot of money

Also guessing Trump is going to have a significant cameo appearance shot in the oval office.

      >Ratner’s career collapsed in 2017 after several female actors accused him of sexual misconduct. He has denied the allegations and was never charged.

      >Belloni reported that Paramount’s decision to release “Rush Hour 4” came “after prodding from Trump on behalf of Brett Ratner,” who will direct the film.

Trump’s support of people who sexually assault is almost compulsive.

I doubt this will be made. Jackie Chan hasn’t been doing much, but in what world would Jackie Chan have trouble getting movies green lit if he wanted to do one? I get the feeling he’s just not feeling up to doing those movies anymore.

Jackie Chan has been retired from stunts for like a decade. What exactly is a Rush Hour movie without Jackie Chan stunts?

I don’t see a single person questioning *why* Donald Trump suddenly wants to revive a comedy franchise that features goofy, outdated caricatures of non-white ethnicities in nonsensical scenarios, all while he’s coincidentally (from the article) *“tapped allies including Sylvester Stallone, John Voight, and Mel Gibson as cultural emissaries, and has repeatedly said he wants to restore what he calls ‚classical masculinity‘ to studio filmmaking.“*

Definitely no ethnocentric propaganda agenda to see here. Nope, just pure coincidence.
