Make the argument that democracies lead to countries where nothing of substance can be delivered (Ireland, UK, USA, etc.) and argue that non-democratic regimes can actually achieve things (just look at how China has gone from a country of peasants to a global superpower under the CCP). The problem is, Putin does not use his dictatorship to make life better for Russians.
