Tis a fine source of employment, the old charity sector. Some of them even do some good on the side.
God forbid the state could provide basic services themselves without needing to pay an NGO
The problem here is that we have some excellent housing bodies brought down by the likes of Peter “shout loudly” McVerry who like John O’Shea had big mouths but proved both toxic an incompetent at running their agencies while being given a free ride to critique the government.
