It’s called a MOTIVATION letter, not a CV letter. Try to point out what drives and motivates you to study at HAW. Dont slap information that would otherwise belong in a CV into the letter.
Your comments about Hamburg are not relevant. You are choosing a university, not a city. And also, why apologize for your lack of german if its not even part of the admission requirements??
