In dem von Ibrahim Asadli und Abdullah Ibrahimli gemieteten Büro wurden Materialien radikaler Natur gefunden. Nach Angaben des Innenministeriums wurde das Büro mit Mitteln eines anderen Staates angemietet.

The detention of participants in an unauthorized rally raises an important question about the balance between freedom of expression and state security in Azerbaijan. Radical materials in an office financed by external sources are a reminder of the risks of external influence on domestic politics—a lesson learned from the history of the post-Soviet space. How do you assess the role of such actions in the current discourse on human rights? It would be interesting to hear the community’s opinions.
I dislike tankies as much as the next guy, but arresting people simply for holding a rally is wrong and unsuitable for any society that considers itself to be democratic

No offence, but wasn’t Azerbaijan a part of communist USSR before? Even the ex-President Geydar Aliev (father of Ilkham) was a Soviet official & once considered a potential successor of Andropov/Chernenko, along with Gorbachev & Romanov.
Islamists and any religious extremists, Commies, Nazis
These „political groups“ can rot in the deepest pits of hell for all I care. There are a very few things to praise our government for, THIS is one of them. Don’t get me started on free speech, national security trumps all of those.
