      They kicked off the FFG lead on it and a Green Minister project managed it. As with 100% of things that actually got done last.government

      Was without a connection for years when houses 500 metres away had it. Now I have 1GB fibre while they’re still on 50mb. Amazing service, were quick enough to respond to queries also, very surprising for a government backed scheme.

      Very much a personal moan but they are impenetrable for information.

      New build, rollout in area finished. House is in a cluster with a pole directly in front of where it needs to be yet new builds are marked as them having to come back and do a design and you can’t sign up with anyone. Which is absurd as the fibre already runs right where it needs to be.

      You get a vague estimate based on inputting your eircode. Which has come and gone.

      I live in kildare and they can’t connect half of the estate up with fibre broadband

      In a house four years now, high speed connection runs literally right in front of us. Rang multiple times re connection only to be told it needs a survey. A guy turned up to look at it last year, and nothing since. Useless beyond words.
