  1. They are pressuring Ukraine to launder rationale to invade Venezuela. I highly doubt the Russian military presence in Venezuela is meaningful. I get why Ukraine is making the statement, it just sucks that they are helping to sell the US on another coup in Latin America.

Are the MAGAs ready to send their sons and daughters to South America? Hope so. But they would probably rather arm them and attack those darned Radical Left Blue States.

  3. I don’t know much about the details of the situation in Venezuela. I do know that America is pushing the rest of the world to see China and Russia in a different light. The US is erratic and unreliable. That makes China and Russia look better.

The US has specifically threatened the sovereignty of Canada, Greenland, and Panama. They have threatened military action in Mexico. They have withdrawn funding for humanitarian projects all around the world. They take the invader Russia’s side against Ukraine. The US has deliberately changed its image on the world stage.

The blame for this shit show rests at the feet of protest voters and couch-sitters.

    Buncha goddamn dummies.

Just another propaganda bullshit to prime yet another invasion.

Firstly, the primary source of information is biased. GUR is Ukrainian intelligence, of course they will say shit about Russian.

Secondly, assume the information is true. Even if Venezuela wants to get or already hired a Russian advisor, then what? It doesn’t relate to and doesn’t justify killing narcotics smuggler. Smuggling drugs is not a capital offense in most of civilized world and countries don’t get the right to exercise their laws on citizens of another country on international water.

Thirdly, Venezuela has their sovereignty and can get advisor from whatever country they want. Heck, they can get to an alliance with Russia if they want. If we agree that Ukraine can ally with any country they want, then Venezuela can do the same thing. Otherwise, it’s hypocrisy.

Fourthly, Russian advisors pose zero threat to US. What can they do? Give good military advice? Can Russian advisor give good advice/strategy? What can good advice do when Venezuela has zero military capability to realize it?

Fifthly, Russian cannot give any dangerous weapons to Venezuela, they need them for their own war. To attack US, you need warships, planes and long-range missiles. All of them are super expensive and Russian doesn’t have excess to spare.

The nuance is that the government is horrid, sure. But it doesn’t make an invasion looks any better. Let local people solve their internal problems. Funding rebels is bad enough, and boots on ground would be even less ethical.
