    1. Such BS. Sounds like they’re only not doing it because of the US. And if so, it means it’ll never happen because we’re stuck with Trump for 3 more years.

      So our only hope is if other countries make us do it.

      Apropos of nothing, Jakarta, Indonesia just became the biggest city in the world. Followed closely by Dhaka, Bangladesh. Both have comparable populations to the entirety of Canada, and both are on sinking costal soil, with rising sea levels providing an existential threat.

      Something to mull over as we here in the developed world neglect climate goals and double down on our fossil fuel industry.
