Nvidia is priced for beyond perfection, anything less is a failure given the massive amount of speculation and hype. They also have to have a monopoly position, except everyone is looking at alternatives to Nvidia, for better compute per watt, and lower sticker prices. Market has been asleep at the wheel thinking it would always be Nvidia forever.
Why does this group only post news where it’s like the sky is falling AI is a bubble or when companies have bad news. I never see positive news posted.
technically Google rising on this news, it’s basically neutral
From what I’ve heard Google’s chips are supposed to be more efficient in terms of electricity. So theoretically this is a step in the right direction for AI impact on the environment.
Not so easy to sell your junk to people who have to spend their own money to buy it.
Not to mention that Steam OS, the Windows replacement, is built for AMD.
