      I hope it’s actually an interesting, unique role for her and she’s not just taking a paycheck just to play the worried mother of a possessed child.

      Edit: Or the skeptical intellectual who has to be convinced by the hot priest that demons really exist.

      Twist, she is possessed by a bunch of ghosts, and none are white ladies.

      Now she gets to try out a whole bunch of accents and impressions she has been practicing with Colin.

      Do they think they can just inject her into any franchise like The Rock (which also doesn’t work anymore)?

      It’s giving pay check garbage, Scarjo, and after that last movie where we watched you shoot a dinosaur in the face with a gun, I’m not sure you’re plumbing your artistic depths.

      They really did such a great job on the first one I really don’t think we need an updated one with ai cgi or whatever the fuck to make any of it more realistic than the first

      I love Scarlett and The Exorcist is the greatest horror movie ever made. But this doesn’t need to exist. We never need another Exorcist movie…or any movies about exorcisms. It’s so exhausted and played out.

      People in the comments are forgetting this is going to be written and directed by Mike Flanagan. The odds of this failing are pretty low.
