Surprise surprise. The DWP operates in such a way to save as much money as absolutely possible to the detriment to claimants. From scoring claimants 0 points for PIP when medical evidence paints an entirely different picture and now this. Carers allowance is an absolute pittance in comparison to what it would cost the state for professional care, so for them to screw people like this for earning such little over the allowance is disgusting.
