IE: Trump is going to do whatever the fuck he wants whether you agree to his conditions or not.

So lemme get this straight: Trump will only stop punching the American economy in the balls only if Europe changes their digital rules enforcement.
I think this has to do with Facebook aka Meta. Just finished the book from an insider at Facebook. There is a huge pain about paying their fair share of taxes outside the US. Facebook is best buddies with Trump and he credits them with his election. So reading between the lines this is an attempt to keep the status quo.
Meta does pay taxes outside the U.S., the amount it pays relative to its substantial global revenue has been a point of contention and a major subject of international tax policy discussions for years.

I don’t know about that, Here on Canada we did a bunch of concessions in „good faith“ and I don’t believe they made a difference, guess we will see if NAFTA survives next year. If it doesn’t i hope they bring all that shit back and more.
