Butter, white whine, garlic, shallots! Garlic bread is a must to soak up all of the greatness!

Depends. If you want to go raw, you use a shucking knife to pry it open. If you want to cook it, boiling it causes it to open.

Steam them. If you have a few you don’t really need water in the pot, but I always put about a half inch of salt water, boil away, there will be a lot of water in the pot once they’re done, and they’ll open up once they’re cooked enough. You can eat them steamed like this in a variety of ways. Plain, which is delicious, dip them in melted butter, or garlic butter drizzled over. I’ve seen them lightly dipped in white vinegar too. Make sure you let them sit in clean seawater for a while after you harvest them, the longer the better, I usually leave them like that for a day or two. After you cook them it’s a good idea to put some of the water from the pot into a bowl to give them a rinse as you eat them in case there is some sand left inside.
That’s a basic start, if you like them, you’ll love them.

Dial 9 and then 1…. Eat it raw and wait to see if you have to tap that last 1.
