
Habe das in einem YouTube-Video von Astrokobi gesehen. So groß wäre unsere Nachbargalaxie Andromeda, wenn wir ihre Helligkeit erhöhen würden.
Sie wäre viel größer als der Mond und je näher die Galaxie der Milchstraße kommt, desto größer wird sie bis zur galaktischen Kollision in etwa zwei Milliarden Jahren.

It’s really too bad it doesn’t actually look like that. So many more people would be interested in astronomy and science I feel.
It’s so large it makes me sad that it’s so faint to the naked eye
I just did the math. My pension isn’t going to last for 2 billion years so I guess I will miss the collision 😯
I’d love to see a time lapse video of 2 billion years watching Andromeda approach…
I doubted that was true or accurate so I did a short Google search and found what I think might be the source of that image.

TLDR: It’s true but that image is zoomed in and does not give a correct sense of scale.
