Vodka is actually not a „special“ Alcohol, it’s just ethanol and water and very cheap to produce by the manifacturer. So when you go for Vodka it‘s ok when you go for even the cheapest one.
And Finlandia isn’t even made in Finland anymore.

I have a kiwi partner and I am planning a move to New Zealand. Don’t worry, already been there!
I know New Zealand has a huge craft beer industry, so try some local beers! I do recommend if you want full on Finnish alcohol experience, buy some Koskenkorva. Finnish vodka at it’s finest. Another recommendation would be our massive collection of different gin and spirits around.

Well, there is a reason Finns like having a bucket or two around.
You didn’t need to tell us you were buying alcohol for the first time. Your choice of vodka brand tells us that.
Only real NZ’ers like me drink Jollu (Jaloviina) 1 star. Stop posing XD but seriously, Finlandia is a good drop. Enjoy!

it’s decent alcohol. so not screwed in that sense. but if you drink the whole bottle, you might wake up screwed.
Question, is there a Finnish root to the word “Finlandia” to me it’s just Suomi in Spanish.
