      Anyone paying for Copilot AI is a CEO who has no idea what he’s doing and foisting it on staff that hates it.

      I hate this idea so much I’m considering switching to Steam OS. I WILL NEVER USE AI.

      Microsoft has a monopoly on enterprise software. Also, their creation of their own, proprietary standards makes it very difficult to move out from their particular set of products.

      I’m a sysadmin in a Microsoft enterprise environment, but at home I’ve just fucking had it with Microsoft for a while and finally made the inevitable switch to Linux 2 weeks ago. Currently trying out Mint and Omarchy.

      Well microsoft has the tools and reach, but enterprise trust and integration are big hurdles. Businesses move slowly, and employees need chatbots that actually help instead of creating more work. Adoption won’t happen just because the tech exists.

      I think I’ve been using Windows since Windows 98. They’ve done an impressive job making the pain of learning a new system and taking on the jump to Linux significantly more appealing than moving on to Windows 11.

      Make it optional and each feature opt in like excel etc

      Its down your throats, invasive, slows down business pcs and requires a ton of tuning of privacy controls.

      Everyone i know is either using chatgpt because it was first or gemini because everyone’s logged into google on their browser or andoid phone. Good luck Macroshit
