I have simultaneously never been more productive nor had as much freedom as when I’ve been a fully remote employee.
Being in the office invites wasting time. Walking to and from the bathroom. Walking to and from the break room. Walking to and from conference rooms. Waiting for the elevator to pick you up. Waiting for the elevator to drop other people off before you. The list goes on.
Why remote employees are the ones being monitored like it’s 1984 is baffling.
