    1. People with feeble minds and/or no critical thinking skills will find it difficult to face reality.

    2. Public release of ChatGPT, or rather allowing it to continue, was probably the worst public policy mistake governments ever made. Or perhaps it wasn’t a mistake?

AI makes money by increasing engagement. It increases engagement by telling people what they want to hear even if it’s unreasonable and untrue. What people want to hear is that they are special and more deserving than others, all their flaws are forgivable and maybe even noble, their prejudices justified, and that all their failures are the result of malicious persecution and not their fault. Have a diet of non-stop ego candy and eventually your brain goes pear-shaped.

Sure, if you’re one of the people that believes AI is some kind of oracle of truth, which it isn’t.

Artificial intelligence interacting with low intelligence will definitely produce some interesting results.

AI is an echo chamber, that’s designed to tell you what you want to hear.

      This is dangerous!

AI could be useful, but appropriate implementation relies on users who have critical thinking skills and understand how AI works (or doesn’t). Currently, a reliance on AI to manage critical resources is a recipe for disasters.

It’s clear to me that 35% of the American population has been delusional for some time now.
