  1. Well, look at it from this perspective. Would Trump be grateful if we collectively decided to give Alaska back to Russia without his consent? Oh, and we get to keep 50% of all development profits afterwards.

What exactly have they got to be grateful for?

It would be like having a realtor negotiate the sale of your house and then call you ungrateful when they try to make you pay the buyer to steal your house.

Vlad „Bubba“ Putin approve of this view. in fact he came up with the plan.

  4. „I gave away half your stuff without your consent. Why aren’t you grateful!“

Another war not solved ….. Another Nobel prize passes piggy by

  6. This is back to how it was when Zelinsky first visited the White House and Trump harped on him not being grateful enough

If there is one word the Orange Asshat should never mention is ‚gratitude‘. Can’t wait until he’s a memory.

Because it sucks, was written without Ukraine (which is a democracy with parliament) and doesn’t guarantee Ukraine security or appropriate compensation for being attacked for no reason?

„Sure Russia can have the land they took and some of their money back too, why not?“

The security guarantee also looks like something Russia plans to violate because the plan excludes putting European troops in Eastern Ukraine (which Russian won’t fuck with).

The issue with the Donbas, besides it being Ukraine’s territory and population is that the heavy fortifications make it impossible for Russia to jailbreak into the rest of Eastern Ukraine. Russia wants this territory and also wants no European peacekeepers. Hmmm…

The only time Russia has taken significant land in this conflict at what anyone sane considers reasonable cost was in the very beginning. They obviously would like to do that again.

Andrii Yermak, Ukraine’s top official meeting with Rubio right now, has been reported as saying, and I quote Sky News –

    >“We have very good progress, and we are moving forward to the just and lasting peace. Ukrainian people deserve and want this peace more than any more.“

    >Yermak stressed that he thanked „our big friends“ the US and Trump too after the US leader complained about a lack of gratitude earlier

Imagine having to act like this around the literal fucking President of the United States, because he’s such a toddler he’ll be annoyed if you don’t grovel to him.

“I’m completely straight, but thanks again for trying to sodomize me.”

  12. Why is he always seeking gratitude? It’s not like he’s actually doing anything worthwhile. His plans suck and always nosing into other peoples business. He thinks he can negotiate, but this isn’t a real estate transaction in New York. Let Europe decide.

Russia Media Monitor on YT showed Russia’s view on the plan. They view this as a Ukraine surrender and see Zelensky’s speech as preparing Ukraine for it. They view the deadline on Thursday as a hard deadline and basically think they won. They acknowledge there could be some hiccups, but think the end is near.

Trump is going to have a hard time defending this as fair to Ukraine when even Russia views this as a Ukraine surrender.

  14. That’s the full-blown narcissism talking. That level of obvious narcissism should be tested for and amended to the constitution that it’s not in the best interest of the citizens of the United States (or the world) for someone so delusionally self-absorbed to hold any government office.

  15. The Trump administration is pressuring Ukraine to stop resisting the invasion of their country, not pressuring Russia to withdraw their troops and end the invasion.

It’s an insane reality to live in.

  16. It’s like saying, “Hey, I’ll politely ask this bully to stop punching you. All you have to do is give him all your lunch money, your lunch for the next few weeks, the clothes off your back and promise you won’t hit him back. Until he changes his mind and wants more from you.”

A „peace plan“ only involving Putin and Trump and not involving Ukraine and Europe. The „plan“ is a joke considering
    * Ukraine has to enshrine it will never join NATO in their version of the Constitution
    * Reduce military to 600K (currently estimated at over 900k)
    * Never launch missiles at St. petersburg or Moscow
    * Give up Donbas region to Russia
    * The EU would pay $100 billion to „construction relief“

    Yeah, some fucking plan

  18. tRrump proposes a plan to screw over Ukraine and he wants gratitude. Still a moronic fool that tRump

The stupidity of creating a peace plan where Russia guarantees peace and the USA guarantees protection WHEN THAT SAME PLAN ALREADY FAILED, and is still actively failing, is so beyond stupid that there needs to be a new word invented that combines hated, traitorous, lying, and stupid into a single adjective, a word that over time will morph into a new swear word.
