      I have no idea if an AI bubble is about to burst, but I know for damn sure the CEO of a company that is worth a couple of trillion thanks to AI is not going to admit it’s about to happen, even if he knows for sure it is.

      Well of course he’s going to say that… If he says the opposite then their stock price is going to tank since the majority of their revenue is because of the ‚AI Bubble‘

      To be fair, its a LLM bubble, not an AI bubble.

      well of course he does. imagine what happens to him and his leather jacket once all of the ai private debt vulnerabilities are laid bare in plain english to the common folk.

      I’m sure he’s being completely honest and forthright with his thoughts on the AI bubble since it clearly has no negative financial implications for his company.

      So sick of hearing about the shit. It’s cool tech, I get it. But it’s not the end all be all.

      I wouldn’t give it credence if I were the CEO either, BUT it is a bubble for sure.

      Chips won’t be in a bubble however , which is what nvidia technically specializes in. Why would they lie about AI?

      I remember this weird push against AI Art , people saying all types of negative sruff about it until Adobe and more major brands started using it… now theyre silent. 

      Even in gaming , AI is creating novel generative content and interactions. It’s actually more fun to have an NPC that seems conscious and alive than one that repeats the same lines over. So i dont really understand why theres such a fear/pessimism about AI.

      We’d be headed for a crash whether AI exists or not – because that’s what capitalism does every 6-8 years or so. It just so happens that this time round it’s probably going to be something to do with the entire US GDP growth in the last couple of years, all being down to about 4 AI companies, all of whom are (right now) promising big and delivering small.

      I think AI is already mind-blowingly incredible, but it’s being funded by fucking surveillance companies, that are owned and run by peculiar narcissistic billionaire weirdos, who are supporting what is starting to look a whole lot like Nazism 2.0
