The one good thing could be blocking mandatory age verification requirements, but I’m pretty sure they’ll let authoritarian and fascist regulations get a free pass.
For almost everyone, issues relating to copyright will have zero impact on their lives. But AI being used for hiring and employment decisions will have an impact, along with AI being used for insurance decisions. If they actually supported a ban for protecting creative freedom and innovation, then why not narrow it so that employment, insurance, and other potential problem areas are exempt?
