    1. It’s funny how MAGA folks despised “legacy media” until it started telling them what they want to hear

    2. Yet another safe space for the delicate MAGA folks. There is no such thing as mainstream liberal media in the US.

Might as well have, I wouldn’t have canceled my paper subscription any harder.

    4. Why not? It’s not like anyone who used to read it reads it any longer.

I like the strategy though, have all media outlets reporting the exact same things from the exact same viewpoints. That’s a great way to differentiate your product and draw an audience.

It’s not. All of these billionaires will be losing money on most of these media outlets. And you know how much billionaires like losing money. They’ll have to be dedicated to their messed up cause for it to continue. Some are definitely true believers.

The Post’s circulation is certainly booming after the editorial changes. 😂

I was a 10+ year print subscriber and I cancelled it after the debacle with the presidential non-endorsement. It’s a dying newspaper under Bezos.

    6. Funny how I look at this post with only minimal curiosity since our family cancelled our subscriptions to that soiled rag forever. I don’t even care of Bezos eventually unloads it on someone else. Those oligarchs turn everything they touch to a nutty brown

Jeff Bezos is MAGA’s wet dream. They guy wants to get rid of the Department of Labor Relations. He’s spent countless millions in union busting and wants to pay no taxes while he finds creative new ways to abuse workers and take over healthcare. It’s getting to a point where some medications can only be found on Amazon. Not much we can do to fight him, but a good start is to obviously stop buying from them. From there just stop gifting Amazon gift cards when you’re in a bind and can’t figure out what to get the person. If you use Twitch, just watch your favorite streamer’s content on other platforms. It sucks, there’s no ethical consumption under capitalism, but at least you can hurt the biggest players. Tesla felt the hurt not too long ago and has been forever tarnished. Taking Bezos down just a couple notches should be a consumer priority.

Washington Post’s circulation is mostly the DMV area right?

DC, Maryland, and VA. All three areas that are full of people who do not like that fat orange fuck.

Who is this new MAGA WaPo supposed to be for?

Hence why I buy local now to avoid Amazon all together! Bezos can go take a hike!

    11. Subscriptions (digital) have been declining since a peak during the pandemic of roughly 3M. In 2022-2023 they fell to 2.5M, and then in October of 2024, during the controversy surrounding Bezos‘ chicken-shit refusal to allow the paper to endorse a presidential candidate, they fell to the low 2 millions. Print subscriptions during that same period fell from several hundred thousand to under 150,000.

I am a proud canceller of my subscription.
