The NDP don’t currently have a leader or direction. Abstaining from the vote on a budget to as not to cause a snap election in a moment of weakness is the obvious move.

Sad to hear he thinks making decisions on behalf of his constituents (aka what he was elected to do) is a „game“. You get paid to make tough decisions, not turn your back on the people who count on you at the first opportunity. The NDP needs solid leadership yesterday

Suppose an election did get called, Liberals lose and the NDP manage to form government.
In this hypothetical scenario, who becomes the PM? Does Singh come back or is it some temporary leader until they have a leadership contest?
