Whenever I see a story like this I wonder how the hell a message between two friends ends up in the newspapers

    2. I feel like there may be missing context here.

Its the daily mail so…. Likely.

    3. To save people reading the DM the important context is here

      >’The defendant and the victim in this matter had been friends but had a falling out which resulted in an incident on the October 27, 2024 whereby abusive and homophobic text messages were sent to the victim causing her alarm and distress.

      >’The Crown place this offence in the highest category of its type due to the effect related to sexual orientation and the greater harm because it had moderate impact.‘

      >In mitigation, Kinney’s lawyer Simon Simmonds said: ‚There had been an incident and in the text conversation Miss Kinney sends photos of her quite badly injured.

      >’She had to attend hospital. She was effectively ranting and there is not much coming back.

This was nothing to do with the alleged assault, she was harrassing someone and was convicted for that. She was given a tougher sentance due to the language.

More trash journalism from the Mail which is easily disputed by reading the article.

Ladies, if you’re sexually assaulted, smile and be happy and don’t you dare be emotionally upset or you will be charged.

Welcome to the United Kingdom, women have less rights now.

Also, make sure your friends are your friends, and discard the trash you suspect would backstab you, such people are worthless.

    5. What a pointless waste of time, money, effort for all people involved.

I don’t want my tax money being wasted on policing potential hurt feelings over the choice of someone’s words.

This is the Daily Mail trying to normalise homophobic abuse and make life awful for gay people.

The abuser was assaulted by someone else, not the victim. This article is designed to encourage a certain type of fucker to feel justified in abusing other gay people. See also ethnic minorities.

Don’t use the Fail as a news source, they are a joke, always have and always will be.

Now this creates division and is a classic divide and conquer tactic, used by all governments, all thought out history.

“ through great disorder, can come change” that isn’t my motto or how I live my life but the super rich, very much believe in this.

I am doing a bit of revelation of the method.

This is what almost certainly happened: She picked a fight with a guy expecting him to not hit her back. But, turns out he’s gay and doesn’t care about female privilege, so he kicked her ass. She was a sore loser and ranted to her „friend“ who actually hates her and painted herself as the victim while calling him slurs. The “friend” reported her to the thought police because either she can’t stand her or she’s just one of those “nosers-out of unorthodoxy” Orwell wrote about.

      Consider:

      * She never reported the fight to the police because she was probably the attacker

      * Her lawyer never describes her as the victim of that fight and instead brushes it off as „an incident“

      * The messages themself are not quoted, even in censored form, because they would show her in the wrong.
