tldr; The odds of a US Federal Reserve rate cut in December nearly doubled, sparking optimism among Bitcoiners and the broader crypto community. Analysts speculate this could help Bitcoin reverse its downward trend, as rate cuts typically benefit riskier assets like cryptocurrencies. The CME FedWatch Tool showed a jump in rate cut odds from 39.10% to 69.40%, influenced by dovish remarks from New York Fed president John Williams. Despite weak market sentiment, some analysts view the setup as bullish for Bitcoin and crypto markets.

I would like it more if the odds were low heading into the cut. Because then if we get surprised and get one, especially a good one, people will be more bullish and market is more likely to be green. Instead now it might just end up being a sell the news, on the day of the cut.

Fear Index 10 now, Extreme Fear (the highest one ever) – I wonder if we see higher fear index next days (like 9 or 8) … last week was 16…

The fed will cut rates on December 10th, and the market will rally back up and then the BoJ will raise rates on December 19th and the market will go straight back down. Don’t let fomo burn you here. You can DCA now and sell the news or just wait a few months and start DCA.
