      Agreeing to the US-Russian plan could leave Ukraine “without freedom, dignity and justice”, he said. It would also mean believing “someone who has already attacked us twice”, he said, adding that he would never sacrifice Ukraine’s interests or go against its constitution. “We did not betray Ukraine then [in 2022], and we will not do so now,” he declared.

      This is not a „plan“. It is clearly a forced surrender by Zelenskyy, because Trump is supporting Putin, thereby giving aid and comfort to America’s arch enemy.

      There’s a word for that betrayal.

      Question for people that know way more than me. If Ukraine says No to this deal, and Trump says “okay, you’re on your own” is Ukraine screwed? Would the help of other countries not be able to replace what they’re getting from the US?

      Rubio said some ‚top leaders‘ in Ukraine already support the plan.
      Also on of the 28 points is the Ukraine must have ‚free elections‘ within 100 days.

      So, what’s cooking up is a palace revolution to oust Zelensky, since apparently he’s an annoyance for both big players.

      It leaves Ukraine in a worse position than now. It recedes even more territory and disarms, Russia „pinky promises“ to not invade for a third time though….

      There’s plenty of countries in Europe willing to step in and step up support for Ukraine. Anyone saying trust Russia or Trump is blind to history. Z should do what’s best for Ukraine and his people, their choice not Trump or Putins.

      I’m Canadian and I’m happy to support you guys but jesus christ you are all first world countries with functioning evonomies and militaries, do something to help a fellow European country instead of depending on North America.

      Trumps plan to summarize:

      In exchange for end of war Ukraine will:

      1) give up more land then Russia currently occupies

      2)get rid of weapons to protect from future Russia attacks

      3)no foreign army on soil to protect Ukraine from future Russia attacks

      4)Ukraine does NOT join NATO or EU to protect from future Russia attacks

      In exchange for end of war Russia will:

      1)accept the surrender of Ukraine forces.

      It really seems like Russia has already lost this war. 🌍 Their only trade partners are states considered terrorist or communist. It’ll be decades, if not longer, before they rejoin global markets. 📉

      Ancient Orange brings up the same plan every 45 days or so. Absolutely nothing changes, he’s awful at negotiating. He just takes what’s told to him by Putin and tries to impose it on Zelensky.
