      It’s no secret that if you hang around enough on YouTube, either real MAGA folks or bots flood the comments section on like 90% of any random news segments or channels like this (along with Dislikes). The tides have kinda shifted a little these days tho because this current administration is comically inept.

      Browser extensions that bring them back dont actually know the actual count of likes/dislikes. It only counts the likes/dislikes of people who use that extension

      Wasn’t the whole issue with, not just political dislikes, coordinated brigading? Even with other rating systems on other sites, they will remove negatives votes/comments when it follows a pattern where it isn’t about the source material itself but some other movement. Like dropping bad reviews when they haven’t seen it. If you didn’t watch the video but showed up just to downvote it, it doesn’t tell anyone else that may or may not be interested in the value of the video because those downvoters never even watched it.

      I couldn’t give a fuck about stupid posturing about youtube likes. The government is making innocent people disappear. They reject the 1st Amendment every time they threaten protestors. Local militias that The People organize to defend their communities from the Trumpist military occupation are considered „terroristic“. They deny rights to a trial; to warranted searches and seizures. The constitutional order is dead, and it has nothing to do with liberals or the undocumented. The guys in charge are evil incarnate and they’re molesting all our money while we argue about who deserves to be here.

      I really like how likes and dislikes are separate Becase it’s the most logical thing. I still do not know why Reddit combines likes and dislikes it’s a massive design flaw that they need to fix some day.
