That’s part of the reason I was so amused at all the „nobody deserves to die over their political opinion“ stuff that the right and the centrists were spewing when Charlie Kirk got killed. It was obvious that they meant „no conservative deserves to die over their political opinion“. They spent most of 2002-2004 advocating for the imprisonment, torture, and/or death of anyone who didn’t support Bush.
Shit, my own relatives said I should be tortured at Guantanamo Bay and executed for treason because I didn’t support the Iraq war.
These can’t be the same conservatives who were lecturing us on our rhetoric just a couple months ago.

There’s nothing controversial about a statement that troops should refuse illegal orders. It’s an obligation troops have had for a long time. Of course, Trump will take any opportunity he can to call for the arrest (or, in this case, deaths) of his political opponents. Statements like these should be widely condemned. But of course, MAGA’s identities are so fused with Trump at this point that they’ll support whatever he says or does.
Case in point: anyone see the clip from Dean’s TikTok where a conservative literally asked him to explain why child sex abuse is bad? It’s wild.
The fact that the media has not made this their number one story constantly just proves that they will let this country die before they actually do their job.
