      Liquidity is illusionary in crypto which only gets exacerbated by derivatives. It is only a matter of time until a market maker gets ganged up on and collapsed causing a domino effect. Being under regulated is not a particularly good thing. When big players now know their are no consequences under the „crypto president“, „glitches“ will happen with some regularity.

      He is talking about Ethena USD and it’s depegging on October 10 on Binance. It dropped to 0,65$ due to a bug and it cascaded tons of liquidations. It was a binance oracle bug not a Ethena Blockchain bug.

      I remember the news around this glitch. It was a price oracle issue that misreported price causing loans to default and a cascade of liquidiations. Lotta work yet to do in this industry to make it more battle hardened. inb4 we’re still early.

      I recently faced an issue with a large lending protocols UI preventing withdrawal. I had to crawl through smart contracts to extract it. DEFI is _still_ the wild west.

      Nah. It’s my fault. I bought a ton of MSTR and then BTC shit the bed. Unfortunately, I’m going to buy even more MSTR to average down… so, I’m sorry for the next dump.
