    1. Sometimes I feel like starting the Actually Conservative Party, and running on good old-fashioned values like being polite, respectful, and minding your own damned business. I’m old enough and rural enough that the LGBTwhatever spectrum will probably always feel weird and a bit disturbing to me, but also self-aware enough to see that it’s just none of my concern what anybody else does with themselves so long as they’re not hurting anybody else. This is just performative spite and bullying.

Clearly the most important issue facing Alberta right now. Distracting from all the Corruptoon, mismanagement and other idiocy, let’s attack some kids and use a nuclear weapon to do so.

Focus on the issues. She is just copying Trump and trying to get you to talk about anything else. Focus on the serious issues. This can be overturned after she is gone, if it even sticks.

Focusing on just one very small bit of this whole thing here – it’s slightly ironic that this article which points out inaccurate or misleading claims by smith makes their own inaccurate or misleading claims.

Claiming that puberty blockers don’t do anything ‘irreversible’ is pretty dishonest. Delaying, stopping, or otherwise interfering with a crucial stage of a child’s development like that is absolutely a very significant thing which will have effects on their development for the rest of their life.

Whether you believe this is justified or not to help address someone’s gender dysphoria is a whole separate argument – but dismissing puberty blockers as not a huge deal is very dishonest in my opinion.
