Heck, even Ukraine is having a tough time getting a seat! It’s so messed up
Fully agree that the EU and Ukraine must have a seat at the table, but it’s going to be hard to get one because everyone knows russia wants to invade another European country in the near future.
A plan to give Russia everything they want is not a plan to end the war. It’s a plan to start new ones.
As they should.
Given how disloyal Trump has acted toward most of America’s allies, the US should not have a seat at the table.
Russia is your neighbor in the EU. Why are you all still talking and not having already set the table, set your requirements to end the conflict and had negotiations between the EU, Russia and Ukraine?

Trump and Putin can meet and there’s nothing to prevent it. What the EU can do is ignore whatever deal they make (if they deem it undesirable)

However, Europe’s military – industrial industry is weak, with high manufacturing costs and low military stockpiles. Buying from the United States is also very expensive. So spending a lot of money doesn’t achieve good results. Meanwhile, the Ukrainians are desperately losing ground. So the conditions Putin offers must include the goals he hopes to achieve in the future, which Europe can’t accept. At the same time, there are many European countries with different opinions. Participating in the negotiations would actually hinder the peace talks. So neither Russia nor the United States wants Europe to get involved.
