While I think Cheney wasn’t a good guy I think he did have a major love for both his country and money where as Trump just has the love of himself and money. Still imagine being too unethical and too terrible of a person to be invited to Cheney’s funeral. It is like Cheney’s one last shot to the face which it seems Trump is used to anyway.

I mean, Liz Cheney was a pretty hard-line never-Trumper, so I’m not sure this is entirely surprising. The woman lost her job to a MAGA republican.
As a side note, my kid toured the university of Wyoming as a choice for college and there is legitimately a Dick and Lynne Cheney pavilion there. The Cheneys did a lot for Wyoming (admittedly with ill-begotten gains) and their kid still got booted from congress by a MAGA candidate.
