NDP, studentische Treuhänder und Interessengruppen sprechen sich vor der Schlussabstimmung gegen Gesetzentwurf 33 aus

I bet the government does both. 

They see that there’s an appetite for funding education. They see that there’s frustration with boards like TDSB, particularly among their base. And they see a ridiculous amount of administrative overlap between the various boards. 

Take control, then follow up with an administrative efficiency and funding push and you’ve got a hell of a lot of mainstream support heading into the next election.
