The whole Khashoggi – Saudi power struggle civil war with MBS is a wild rabbit hole of its own that gets real crazy when you try to thread the Vegas shooting with it. I really do think this is the next target for progressive democrats to hammer after the Epstein files.
As a member of Congress he can simply recount what the call entailed and be perfectly safe under the Speech and Debate Clause, just like the Pentagon Papers.
Just like the files, the transcript will show nothing, if either are ever released. Heavily redacted, whataboutism, finger pointing, yadda, yadda, yadda. Same day, same shit. One day, I’m hoping all this stuff will leak out but I’m not gonna hold my breath.
