      Maybe this will be the thing that leads to executive orders being knocked down.

      They’re really nothing other than a statement by the President saying „we are going to enforce the law in this way“. And as such they cannot override laws. If states make something illegal the federal executive branch can’t really change it as they weren’t the ones enforcing it in the first place.

      The government has been coasting on EOs for far too long. The legislative branch simply stopped doing their job around the time of Gingrich.

      Can executive order override state law? Fed laws do but those are voted successfully through Congress.

      Can I just offer an “F” the EOs and the way this administration has used them, largely as publicity stunts creating far, *far* more confusion and “unfunded federal mandates” than Dems ever perpetrated on the economy. UNCERTAINTY is the only way to describe where we are headed.
