ED is a big issue in the theater world and I think since they jumped full speed into that arena, they’re falling victim quickly.

I think they all fueled each other’s anorexia. If people with dysphoria spend a lot of time together they’ll enable each other and spiral. Diet pills, “trainers” etc. They are all obviously unwell.

Yeah, I saw that premiere footage and was shocked by Michelle Yeoh’s appearance. I knew about the other two loons, but she’s always been fit and seemingly normal. It’s like that cast is all in some kind of a cult.

Ozempic clearly being over used on women who never ever needed it

    6. Just a buncha mentally ill women got together and started pinging off each other and probably eating disorders mixed with doing white

Insecurity, dysmorphia, career/fame pressure, shared bad habits, access to ways to lose weight *quick*, lack of people willing or able to stop them, maybe drugs. Hell, even greater access to *actual* healthier food and exercise, on top of all that.

Doesn’t take much of a conspiracy.

There’d be a lot more non Hollywood people looking like this too, if they could.

Already skinny people getting hold of Ozempic. That and/or drugs

There will be a documentary made about the fucked up stuff that happened in this production.

    10. It’s like what happened on Ally McBeal. The eating disorders were catching.

This look is being pushed so us regular people don’t question our skeleton bodies when we can’t eat

this may be really out there, but almost like a sinister rendition of the horrid treatment judy garland faced bts of WOO; executives calling her fat, having her on a strict diet, diet pills, smoking ciggs, painful corset to make her look younger, ect.

Anorexia caused by shitty societal standards and a bad social circle/manager. Sad to see.

They are probably on the diet Judy Garland was for wizard of Oz. Chicken soup, coffee, and 80 cigarettes a day. /s

In all seriousness though, Ariana has had ED issues for years. Especially in her tumblr days. I think 3 people with eating disorders making a film together and spending excess amount of time together kind of brings out this pressure to „be the skinniest“. Not saying they are purposely being competitive, its just something that happens when you get to that extreme level.

    15. Compared to other movies the large dancing numbers would start eating down on them with the schedule. Plus they would be stuck in an echo chamber of their own weight seeing each other drop. As someone mentioned similar to what happened on Ally McBeal where they all fuelled each other as no one wanted to be the “bigger” one. They were fine before weight wise and I do worry the 2000s super rail thin is coming back.

    16. The didnt become too lean they became the brides of Skeletor. Their body dysmorphic issues played off each other amplifying the issues.

    17. Actors aren’t free thinkers… they’re puppets selling whatever illusion their masters script.

When the system wants excess, they celebrate obesity and call it pride.

When collapse looms and food shortages creep closer, they glamorize starvation and call it beauty.

It’s not accidental. When the supply chain snaps for a week or two, the crowds trained to follow every trend will be the first to fall… exactly as designed.
