Body positivity is now relegated to the uninsured.
They win, to a degree, in the end, tho.
Those without diabetes will be members of the class action after a while, when the rampant off-label usage reorganizes things like an mRNA experiment.

I personally am fine with Trans but it was pushed on people in a way that caused this totally predictable backlash. I think the politicians involved want to divide the 99% so they can continue to work with wealth to rip us off.

Who fucking cares. My god, leave people alone. Let them make decisions about their lives. Wanna be fat? Great! Be proud. Wanna get healthier? Awesome! Good for you. Wanna wear a dress? Strut it!

Brother I love a good conspiracy but this just ain’t it on either thing. Body positivity was never about telling people they were beautiful if you thought they were fat. The point was that it’s not your job to police peoples bodies or tell them they aren’t living up to your standards when they didn’t ask you. The point was unsolicited comments to people about their body, both good, bad, and in between aren’t productive or warranted. Why does Lizzo or her fans need to see a bunch of internet trolls call her fat and why should she care? There’s just no reason to really ever give anyone unsolicited opinions about their body ever.
I don’t believe in body positivity in the sense that if I’m asked directly if I think it’s fine to be obese I won’t lie and say yes but I’d never tell someone unprompted that they were unhealthy or fat because it’s none of my damn business. If they are feeling themselves and like how they look it does not affect me and thus I don’t need to make my opinion known.
It’s the same with trans visibility. What someone chooses to do with their junk, how they dress, how they act, what bathroom they use etc is generally not your business. Your opinion on it is not something that needs to be said. If you’re directly asked your opinion go ahead and lay it on them but otherwise just move on about your day.
People need to just get the fuck out of people’s business when it genuinely doesn’t affect them in the slightest what other people do with their bodies or how they live. If people did that, we wouldn’t even hear about this shit. It’s not a psyop it’s humans feeling the need to get enraged about shit that’s inconsequential to them and making a topic into such a hot button issue that everyone talks about it because good, bad or ugly ratings and eyeballs mean money. If there was no money to be made because everyone minded their own business you wouldn’t see articles and posts about it guaranteed.

I actually believe the extreme trans movement was pushed aggressively by the right intentionally to undermine the left’s position amongst regular people.

Ozempic is saving lives. The problem with obesity is that when you pass a certain point it’s a lot more difficult to lose weight then someone at a more reasonable weight due to all sorts of factors but one being the insane hunger they perceive compared to healthy individual.
I feel a lot of individuals reach this point before they ever they realize they need to do something or before they learn enough to help them selves.

Body positivity is about not hating/judging people for what they look like, there’s zero implication that you can’t do things to feel better in your body.
