Man, even if the right wants the US to decrease foreign humanitarian aid, even if all Americans did, you can’t just shut down critical lifelines without notice. It leaves a massive funding and resource vacuum. If you want to encourage other nations to contribute, and foster development within the countries being helped – it takes time, cooperation, and strategy. This is so disgustingly inhumane and tragic. My wife worked for USAID as a Foreign Service Officer / US Diplomat for fifteen years before getting canned by Trump this year. This will get much worse before it gets better. And our adversaries are stepping in as we stepped out. This was one of the stupidest, ignorant, selfish and short sighted decisions ever made by a US President on behalf of the American people.
He’s trying to cause mass extermination within the US as well. He wants people to lose access to food and medical care. 💯

I will just point out that USAID was dismantled in a manner that deliberately maximized chaos and death: Abruptly and without warning so that there was no opportunity to establish alternative means of assistance for the affected people.
