What’s the carbon score of an AI data center?
Eggs make me fart. Subtract 5 minutes for each flatulence episode.
This is greenwashing corporate slop. It’s like Fairtrade. Companies can’t hide that they’re having a negative impact on the world, so they do the absolute bare minimum to make it look like they’re actually not the bad guys. It’s not a conspiracy to lock you in your house. The conspiracy is just capitalism.
Netherlands is insane about this stuff so it’ll probably start there
Don’t be absurd!! Of course you will be allowed out……
FOR MONEY!!!
The stupidest thing about this is that the company is the one who used that much. They are the ones using up your carbon allowance. It’s just an extension of carbon tax where you pay for the pollution caused by oil companies and manufacturers. They are free to use whatever materials they want while you get the blame
You think that eco totalitarianism is where we’re heading? Oh man, that would be delightful compared to the actual horrors that await us. Lol, thanks for the giggle.
I’ve been hearing this for years, its bound to happen any day now
How will they stop me.
>Many different countries are starting to adopt the carbon score with your daily carbon allowance to „fight climate change.“
Are countries adopting this, or are companies unilaterally placing this on their packaging to virtue signal that they care?
From reading [this article](https://www.foodmanufacture.co.uk/Article/2023/12/05/the-problem-with-current-carbon-labelling-rules-for-food/), it seems like not only is this nothing more than a virtue signal, but it’s also not even a very well thought out one at that.
From what I can tell, no countries have forced this type of labeling on food as of yet.
Anything that comes of the surface of the earth is inherently carbon neutral. its Anything that’s taken from under the surface that fucks it up and puts us in a deficit
If I see this on a product- I’m not buying it.
What the actual fuck is this
9.8% is a lot
something tells me the aussies will kick it off first…
Yeah right. So they want us to consume and keep the economy going but we can’t leave our house? Who’s going to use fuel and haul your food?
Is it *really* though?
There is no way all of these changes to try and control us aren’t a way to start a civil war
The tin foil hat definitely uses heavy duty material
Meanwhile trump is already literally sending the military against us citizens and the conspiracy „muh freedom“ theorists legion doesnt bat an eye.
