Honestly, it’s a good gesture, but it also feels long overdue. Returning 62 items is great, but it’s a tiny fraction of what was taken over the years. Indigenous communities have been asking for this for decades, so hopefully this isn’t treated like the end of the conversation but the start of more returns and actual collaboration.
